After a postponement due to lockdown, the long awaited Africa Cup is almost here! On Thursday 17 December to Sunday 20 December, Africa’s most elite climbing athletes will descend upon CityROCK Cape Town for the long awaited African Continental Cup. This is a truly exciting time for Sport Climbing in South Africa.
Due to regulations no spectators will be allowed but this epic event will be live streamed so be sure to tune in as the competitors battle it out for Olympic stardom. The hopeful competitors will be competing in the combined disciplines of speed, lead and boulder where the winner (1 male, and 1 female) will hopefully secure their spot to the 2021 Summer Olympics in Japan.
