Still reminiscing on the lost Waterworld base. We move one route over and take a look at Gosia’s impressive send of Firestarter (29/7c+), back in 2013.
If you know Gosia, you’ll understand this is possibly the shortest person beta you’ll see for this route. Note the left thumb beta she incorporates on the low hard move at around 0:40.
On the subject of the Waterworld base.
If someone wants to get a work party together, around 20+ people, half of them with spades, lots of sand bags and the willingness to put some work in, I’d be happy to share with you what does and doesn’t work on building a base at Waterworld (or just see how in the pictures below 😉
FYI: There is a still a 2 ton gabion buried at the base of Arendsig !
