Should rock climbing be banned on sacred land? Many First Nation people are calling for it on their local sites. But it could spell the end for many of Australia’s World renowned climbing spots.
I am for banning climbing at sacred sites. I am not for is the banning of entire mountain ranges or massive areas as they did in the Grampians. Many of the climbs are not over sacred or ancient artwork. They need to discuss with the tribes, what is completely off-limits and what is not. You cannot climb over sacred things, you also cannot claim entire mountains for eternity.

What about Oudtshoorn?
The paintings are on Goonie, which is a crap route. We never needed that one.
