Chris will be the first climber out in all 3 disciplines tomorrow.

He will run his first speed run in lane A at 10am SA time, with a guy called Jonwong Chong running in lane B. He will run his second run about 15 minutes later in lane B. His quickest time will count as his qualifier.

He will start bouldering at 11:00. He will have 5 (maybe 4 only) minutes to attempt the first boulder problem. Once the time is up he then gets 5 (or 4) minutes rest before he started the next problem. I think there are 3 Boulder problems to complete. There is a zone hold and a top on each Boulder. The fewer attempts to the zone and the top, the better.

At 14:10 Chris will start the lead climb. Although he has 6 minutes, he is likely to fall of or get to the top before time is up. The higher up the wall the better.

His position in each discipline will be multiplied together to give a final score. The climbers with the 8 lowest scores go to the finals.

So a 10th, a 5th and a 12th will give a score of 600 while a 2nd, a 1st and a 4th will give a score of 8.
