Strubens Valley Security
Hi Guys
We will be trying a new Security guard at Strubens Valley this weekend. He will be there from 8am until 5:30pm.
Here's hoping that this will solve the security problems.

Hi Guys,
The car guard is not there today (Saturday) but will be there this Sunday and hopefully thereafter on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hi
Regretfully the Strubens car guard has resigned leaving us with no one to watch over your cars at this time. What this means is that there will hopefully be a short period where the crooks and car thieves are unaware that he is not there - after that it will be back to one car stolen a day. PLEASE DO NO TAKE THIS LIGHTLY. Until we can find a new car guard please park at the SPAR or at least be aware that your cars are at high risk.
We will look into finding someone as soon as we can.
Regards
Grant Rens

Hi There,
Please can everyone take note that the MCSA car guard for Strubens has been ill for a while and so his presence has diminished and so will no longer be there.
We are aware that the crime is picking up again around Strubens and are trying to address it with the community sector policing as they would be the best ones for a long term solution.

Hey,
Just as a heads up, our friends car was stolen from Strubens today. Be careful out there.

Hey guys, anyone climbed at strubens recently? Also, if one parks elsewhere, do you feel safe yourself up on the crag?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Strubens Valley Security
Hi
Most people park at the SPAR and walk up the road to the crag. Generally speaking climbing wise everyone has been safe at the crag, just don't leave too late as it may be risky after dark. The Cave dwellers generally leave climbers alone and we don't climb near the cave anymore.
Otherwise the proactive approach is to contact the community policing administrators and ask whether there are sufficient security guards patrolling the area as they are tasked to do this by the community. It is difficult to motivate this as outsiders but the homeowners could push for more security in the area.

Re: Strubens Valley Security
Any updates on the safety and security of Strubens these days?
Haven't been there in years but thinking to check it out... would it be advisable with kids or not?
Thanks
