Ooh cannot wait for the bouldering topo
Re: Stellenbosch Climbing
Oh yeah, it was me. The bouldering guidebook will be limited, so it has a low priority at this point.
I've been working on the Botmaskop trad route guide which has some new routes. The guide can be found at http://www.climbing.co.za/wiki/Stellenbosch.
Other than that, I am working on new bolted lines at the Stellies crag. I only got final permission yesterday (10/06/2020) for access so I will start working on the guide soonest.
Cheers

Re: Stellenbosch Climbing
We went there last week Sunday after the rain. The routes look great and it is on our doorstep.. Can’t wait to go again and to send them.
The walk in from parking A was not bad at all
Fantastic that there is some route development in Stellenbosch.

Awesome work Oan! Thanks for all the effort!
Re: Stellenbosch Climbing
Please note that the access has been revoked by the manager of Mont Marie due to apparent disrespectful and entitled climbers. This revocation is in place until further notice.
Please, no climbing at the Stellies Winelands crag.

Re: Stellenbosch Climbing
Great news! The crag is open again!
I will post details in the new route guide about rules and access considerations later this week:
http://www.climbing.co.za/wiki/Stellenbosch
I hope people can stick to the rules to keep the crag open...
Cheers
