Let everyone know about any suspect/dodgy/misplaced bolts to be renewed or avoided.

Poor support for ARF

Post by Andy Davies » Fri Jan 05, 2007 10:41 am

The Anchor Replacment Fund has had super support with so many people donating money and many people thanking us for the good work. Unfortunately when it comes to actually replacing bolts we are not getting much support. We have planned a meet at Kleinmond so that we can fix Zuchini after one of its bolts broke and also get as much other rebolting done. Unfortunately we only have 5 people coming on Sunday and its pretty much the same people again who always volunteer for these things.

So this is an appeal to all of you people who think \"someone else\" will take care of the problem. Please please give us a hand [yes I am on my knees!] You don't need to be a DIY expert to help us and you will get some climbing in. And please let us know if you can make it - if the attendance is low we will just cancel the meet.

We will be meeting at Kleinmond parking at 9h00 Sunday 7 Jan. If anybody needs a lift they are welcome to contact me at 0834555667.

If you can't make it this weekend then feel free to join us on Sunday 21 Jan at Peers Cave.

If you have any suggestions to solve this problem then please feel free to comment.
