Bees at Rocklands

Post by BrendanArgent » Wed Aug 07, 2013 12:59 pm

This weekend (4th August) bees decided to clear the plateau area near the waterfall, close to the Kliphuys campsite. Its not clear if a hive was disturbed or if they were swarming or what. One minute all was fine, next thing people were screaming and sprinting out of the area.
3 people we hospitalised but were all ok, just badly stung.

So keep an eye out if you are planning a Rocklands mission. And be especially careful if you are allergic.

Bad news, hope they are OK.

Maybe the nearby landowners have got one of Burns' dogs?
