Montagu Rock Rally Still On for this week-end!

Good News!

With the rain forecast predicting less and less rain we have decided to go ahead with the original plans for Rock Rally.
Timetable:

Friday night/early Saturday morning: Arrive at De Bos campsite

Saturday 7:30: Registration at De Bos courtyard
8:30: Costume showcase and briefing
9:00: event start
19:00: Cut off time for scorecard submission (Boerewors rolls, Kombucha and Beer on sale at the courtyard)
20:00: Prize giving and after party

Sunday 8:30: Morning Yoga session with Kim.

About 150 climbers! City Rock, WSAR/TM(?) Rescue Team, Montagu Medics, Yoga, and many more! including a young kid (maybe 12 years?) sending a grade 29!!! The party rock(ed) ! Thanks to the DJs and dancers, scientists, pirates and Nerds!! Many crags were busy: Boschkloof, Legoland, Cogmans Buttress, The Farm (awesome new setup - find out the gate lock number), The Sloth, etc etc. Where did you climb? Slightly drizzled (was worst at Legoland) - but only sometimes. - which meant the party sould start earlier. Smaller Braai-Fires still burning late into the night. This was one of the best Montagu Rallies. Thanks all! And regarding the weather- one of the luckiest events. Did include some extreme massive falls and whippers but I think totally injury free!
