KZN Big 100 Climbing Festival

Hi all,

In celebration of MCSA KZN's centenary, we are hosting a climbing festival at the Shongweni Dam crags on the outskirts of Durban on the 15th June.
There will be prizes for hard climbers and normal climbers and obviously fancy dress!
Camping is available at the venue.

List of routes which have been re-bolted at the Wave Cave so far is as follows:

Wake up (23)
Wild Sheep Chase (23)
Rapture of the steep (23)
Sip n Fly (26)
Invertigo (27)
Cyclone Central (28)
Gladiator (28)
Paragon (30)

And most of the bolts which have been replaced appeared to be strong enough to hold a fall, so all the other routes are most likely also safe to climb.

Thanks to James Barns and crew for all your hard work and thanks MCSA for providing the bolts.

The Magnetic Wall has also had a whole lot of re-bolting done, so there will be shiny safe bolts for everyone.
