Looking for a sports multi try when my girlfriend and I visit Namibia next week. Scoped out a couple on Sugar Loaf but the guide is pretty sparse on beta.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm expecting spaced bolting (3-4m between bolts), but would ideally like something as well protected as possible.
Redpointing 27, gf around 20.

You have any gear on you? "To bolt or not to bolt" is a brilliant mixed route on pontoks and a good route if you have only one day, but wants to do a proper multi.
The 21 on the Rhino is well bolted 2 pitch and a good intro route.
The stuff on Sugar loaf is adequately bolted, maybe run out, but does not feel that way.
The Normal route requires no gear and is a good (long) day going at 17. It reaches the spits of Spitz.
There are plenty of single pitch sport that is "normally" bolted.
Get hold of Eckart Harber's guide book, it is comprehensive.

Most of the Nomal route is scrambling, with two pitches of proper climbing.

Great, thanks guys.
Picked up the guide. Slightly concerned about only having a single 60m for the longer routes but will find something that works. Are there likely to be other climbing parties around this time of year?

I would be more then slightly concerned.
You need to take 2 x 60m ropes on the long climbs.
Remember it's Granite so loooong pitches.

Yep. Fair call. Might settle for playing on the boulders below.

Get hold of MCSA Namibia, they often have meets there this time of year. Roland Graf is the legend, watched him climb Herero Arch last year...
