if memory serves me correctly Don and Marijus opened this route a few years ago. Grade was high 20's with questionable rock in places....Probably hasnt seen a repeat.

Hector Pringle on Spicy Chakalaka, Last Crag of the Century, Boven. It looks "improbable", he said. Can you guess the grade?

cheatstick me, but it goes at grade 20 and is about as scary as bakkies botha with a chainsaw (for the grade). not sure if it is as sandbagged as judge dredd, but it is hard..... cath scott dancing up the route here:

if you use draw extensions then you might make it a bit easier, not only on yourself and the grade, but also on your rope:)

The Wilds looks really cool!!!
How is access / safety these days?

Access has been great. Parking inside the St John's school the security guard has the key to the wilds and with regards to safety we haven't experienced anything. And really hope not too.

I used to love the wilds. The full traverse is probably the longest I've ever spent on a project. What are the brown streaks from though, don't remember them being there before.
