Hi, has anyone here ever done the Simonsberg Skyline? We are planning on doing it in a few weeks time and although taking a rope and trad rack I would like to check if there are some route descriptions available and some interesting parts we should be aware of?

I've never climbed the eastern most summit, but have gone up from Tokara to the neck between the eastern and central summits before climbing the central (highest summit). We didn't need a rope for that, but it might be a different story on the eastern summit approach and descent to the neck. Contact Hann on this forum, he knows it well, otherwise the Stellenbosch section of the MCSA should be able to give you some kind of RD.
