We have a station on the very top of Constantiaberg (near the mast) that sends back data every 5 mins and can be viewed online at

You can get a pretty good idea of what conditions are going to be like at the mine, the hole, silvermine or any of the crags on the silvermine mountain, and because we also measure fog and wind, you should be able to get an idea of the schlauk factor - I find that fog+SE = chronic schlauk.
If you are the kind of person who likes to take your SUP down to the berg (and get in the way of real surfers

We have the same setup on top of Dwarsberg, the big peak at the top of Jonkershoek valley (1214m)
http://lognet.saeon.ac.za:8088/Dwarsberg/index.html,
another on top of Mike's pass near Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg at 1860m

and last week we put one just below Tafelberg in the Cederberg at 1540m, and another recently installed in the central Drankensberg at about 3000m. These should be coming online soon.
I find them pretty useful for getting an idea of what is going on in the mountains before I head out. We would be really stoked to see our data being used
