Legoland Farside - Unwanted Guest

My wife and I went to the Legoland Farside Crag today (the one on the other side of the road with the ADK 22).

On the way in I got a bit of an uneasy feeling, as there were a old clothes strewn around the path, as well as a snare made out of reeds.

When we got to the crag there was faeces strewn all over the base. Initially I thought it was baboon but there were little pieces of newspaper and other litter with little stones holding them down. Really weird.

I then climbed down to look behind the crag and saw a person sitting on a mattress, with a bunch of other stuff surrounding them.

It seems like this person has setup their home at the crag and I don’t think it is because he is a dedicated climber.

It might be good to inform the landowner of this, if anyone knows their details. This person has and is creating an absolute mess and it is quite shocking the amount of human faeces strewn all over the crag.

Best to avoid the crag for now.

Hi, thanks for reporting this. The landowner is most likely Montagu or Robertson municipality !??
I've been through this process when there was someone living near The Steeple...

The best way forward will be for Montagu local to drive this. People living in the mountains around Montagu is nothing new (they have removed persons before).

Absolutely, safety should always come first. Letting the landowner know about the situation is key, hopefully, they'll be able to sort it out quickly.

I see there is a farm portion close to this crag but potentially where this guy is living is on the same land as the owner of Bosch Kloof / Legoland?
