Laura Thompson.
076 143 9122
Deep Massage Therapist.
Not only does she heal the injuries, but I now get injured a lot less.
And her therapy has helped improve my climbing by at least 2 grades.

Here in Stellenbosch I'll recommend the expert services of physiotherapist Me. Toni van Houweninge.
She's a Physio and an active climber.
She's in the book.

Seems that I am a but slow at checking this site but I am a climber and a physio. I am in Benoni.
I must admit that I have not treated climbers but I work mainly with sporting injuries.
just for you info, for those on this side of the world.

Hi - I have a chronic tendon issue and looking for a good physio (hand specialist) in Joburg, any recommendations?
The tendon seems healed now but chronically inflamed etc. It's been 6 months now and I am really quite over this recurring pain. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks - have you used the chiro on finger/hand issues before? Gus, I think Boven may be a bit too far from home unfortunately (unless he works on saturday nights).

Re: Recommended Physio's
Hi nozza, Greg is not a climber but has done post grad studies in sports med. Trust me he will know what to do for your tendon, its not really rocket science, you can do a few google searches yourself, if the injury has healed but is still painfull its prob just some scar tissue that has remained and must be broken down (painfull). On the whole i have found chiro to be much more effective than physio. Sorry, i'm sure i've pissed someone off with that last comment, but that what i've found.
