Peers Cave really is now open for business, with only a bit of cleaning being the meaningful task still to be done.

I must confess for the last 6 years I have been a complete snob when it comes to Peers, and this rebolting has been an eye opening experience for me as the area has plenty to offer.

The hangers have been removed off "A Song Named Desire", The Mine.

Are you guys planning on replacing the gear?

Fantastic Cormac, you legend for doing this, so we all can enjoy these amazing routes safely.

A route for the back burner that could do with some ARF love:
Riding Shotgun (24) at the Wild West Wall in Rocklands. I watched a Spanish dude take a 6-7m whip (where lots of people fall I assume) onto the second bolt above the roof. If this bolt had failed I assume he would have perished, since the bolt below that would not have kept him from the ground.

I have seen someone else take this fall too and it looks super sketchy, considering there is a very old mechanical keeping death at bay.

Just an idea :)

Appreciate your efforts dude!

Felching is Fun at The Mine has only been ARF'ed below the lip (roof and face). Headwall and anchors still undone making it slightly dodgy as you only realise you're on old bolts after you have committed for the long haul.

 seems totally appropriate given the name.
Thanks for reporting, I will bring it up at the next Rock sub com meeting.

Did you send (without rope drag)?
