Hilton College crags (Atom Smasher)

I scouted out Atom Smasher crag at Hilton College last week. Hoping to climb there some time.

We struggled to identify a safe route down to the base of the crag. Once down there it was very overgrown with thorn bushes, so rather difficult to move along the base of the cliff.

I had a look around but got rather scratched up in the process and ended up not climbing on the day as I struggled to work out which routes were which with reference to A Climbers Guide to KZN Rock.

I'm keen to go back as it is near to me.

Spoke to the Hilton College estate team and they are happy to discuss access issues with MCSA etc.

This has been on the MCSA's radar for a while. Glad to hear they're happy to chat, it seems something has changed.
