going to rocklands alone?

Hi there,

I can't seem to find anyone to go rocklands with this summer. Is it safe to turn up to cape town and hire a car and drive up to clanwilliam alone and then try meet people at the crag?

Summer...almost nobody goes to Rocklands in summer...
Unless you mean Northern hemisphere summer? In which case, easy to just go there n meet up with ppl.;
But yeah completely safe. Plan route on Google maps, get a phone sim at the airport or an e-sim before youl leave.
Souighly 2.5hr drive and very convenient shopping in Clanwillian or in Malmsbury on the way there.

sorry yes I meant uk summer (southern winter!). I'm going to try come this summer people or no people. I just hope it's easy to meet climbers for spotting etc. RE: accommodation, anyone have any recs for a month stay? Was thinking Charite's place as i stayed there a few years ago, but open to others if anyone knows anywhere better/more comfy for a month!
