What are the ethics about reinforcing grips using glue in Cape Town?
For example, say there is a large flake that will probably hold, however if it were to break the route would probably no longer be possible, should this be glued?
Does the ethics differ if the line is a boulder, trad or sport route?
I know there is a route at Peer's Cave that uses glue, for which I'm grateful as otherwise the flake would have broken making the route far less enjoyable.
