Climbing Uvongo

My daughter and me will be visiting Uvongo this coming weekend.

I am looking for recent information regarding sports climbing in the area (Uvongo Beach Front and Rumdoodle).

Anyone familiar with, and perhaps in, the area, willing to meet up and/or show us around?

I have no information about Rumdoodle but when I last visited Uvongo in April 2019 there were only these 4 routes, which you can climb with the lagoon directly behind you, and the belayer standing on soft beach sand.

Caution: On the ledges of some of the climbing routes you might find pieces of broken glass bottles that beach goers must have smashed against the rocks.

Rumdoodle is a crag in Krantzkloof Nature Reserve in Kloof (Durban). It's currently only accessible by hiking 90min from the main entrance on Kloof Falls Rd.
