Any climbers left in bloem?

Post by Hann » Tue Feb 14, 2006 8:26 am

I used to climb in Bloem between '98 & '02. Any climbers left there or are there any new ones around?

No because we're all in London. Met Jacques briefly, but the scene was abit of a micro one. Not much to do around there these days - just the quarry and Naval hill. Ladybrand and Harrismith are the only real options afaik. Still plan to visit the old haunts for nostalgia's sake when I come and visit.

Hallo Hann & DBez

Climbers in the FS are getting active again. The CUT Mountain Club is up and running and you are welcome to come join the Club! You don't need any gear - although shoes will help - the Club has gear. Climbing times: Tuesday's and Thursday's from 17:00 at the CUT climbing wall.

Hope to see you there!
