Please note that the perception with respect to activity permits for trad climbing in Table Mountain National Park is NOT correct.

Without any consultation with the MCSA or climbers, the park has unilaterally decided to include all trad climbing as an activity requiring a permit.

The MCSA have released a letter to outline the current rules regarding rock climbing and activity permit use within the Table Mountain National Park.
